Dushyant Chautala is currently the youngest MLA from Haryana and has been elected for the first time to the Haryana Legislative Assembly. Prior to this, Dushyant Chautala was a Member of Parliament in the 16th Lok Sabha (2014-2019) from Hisar Lok Sabha seat of Haryana. When Dushyant Chautala became MP, his age was only 25 years, 11 months, and 15 days. He has been the youngest elected MP in the history of India's democracy. After separating from his former party, he founded the Jannayak Nata Party in the year 2018 in public interest. The party won 10 seats in the 2019 assembly elections immediately.
Born on 3 April 1988 in a private hospital in Premnagar, Hisar city, Dushyant Chautala is the elder son of Dr. Ajay Singh Chautala and Mrs. Naina Singh, an MLA from Dabwali. Ajay Singh Chautala is known for his naturalness and decency in Haryana politics. Khel and Khalian run like blood in the veins of this family and public aspirations and responsibilities have always strengthened the political leadership. Dr. Ajay Singh Chautala's family was expelled from the Indian National Lok Dal under a conspiracy after which young Dushyant Chautala founded the new political party, taking the ideals of Jananayak Chaudhary Devi Lal Ji as the basis. Dushyant Chautala is the fourth-generation leader of his family. This farmer family continues to move forward, leading the people's aspirations from generation to generation.
The foundation Devi Lal kept it by his deeds, these next generations are pushing forward through their hard work and vision as well as public participation. The most important ideology of the party is the fight for the interests of the farmers, youth, and the poor. Dushyant's younger brother is Digvijay Singh Chautala, who is the national head of JJP's student-wing INSO. Under his leadership, the solidarity and awareness of the students are seen from time to time. INSO leadership helps students to avoid becoming directionless and are also involved in the process of becoming responsible citizens so that a better society can be created. Such efforts are necessary for an equality-oriented society, as these are the basic objectives of the JJP.
Born in a political family, Dushyant gave the lesson of humanism which has been considered the greatest value in politics, in which the people and ruler are considered paramount and the rule changes completely into service. Due to being endowed with these qualities, Tau Devi Lal Ji was conferred the title of Jannayak by the public and his great-grandson Dushyant Chautala is constantly on this same path. One gets a glimpse of Devi Lal from him and his style of work and often goes saying - "Kati apane dada Tau." Dushyant Chautala started his education at St. Mary's School in Hissar. He took the tenth and twelfth exams at Lawrence School, Sanawar, and passed from Himachal Pradesh. He used to participate a lot in sports along with studies and has even won a gold medal in boxing. In addition, he also captained the school's basketball team. Dushyant Chautala was also the goalkeeper of Lawrence School's own hockey team. Due to his excellent sports record, he is currently the Senior Vice President of the Indian Table Tennis Federation. He believes that sports not only maintains health but enhances positive thinking too. In fact, a person living a positive life can be truly represented. Participation in diverse sports serves to develop a diversified approach towards life. Dushyant Chautala's personality, which is a sense of diversity and coherence, is undoubtedly the result of learning from sports. Along with sports, education also plays an important role, especially for the youth nation. Dushyant, in his times, has also shown his talent in the education world. After passing the 10 + 2 exam, Dushyant Chautala went abroad for his higher education. There, he enrolled in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at California State University and obtained a bachelor's degree. Dushyant Chautala was to go to the US on 27 January 2013 to pursue post-graduate studies, but on January 16, JJP supremo Omprakash Chautala and Dr. Ajay Singh Chautala were detained in the JBT case, due to which Dushyant was not able to proceed for his further studies. On the other hand, that was a crucial time and politics had to be taken over. Therefore, many factors have played a role in the creation of what Dushyant Chautala's personality is today. The most important of which is Tau Devilal's ideal life and his methodology. Land-based politics and modern technology-rich education have kept a mix of both modernity and tradition alive in Dushyant's personality. The practical aspect of these two is clearly reflected in the questions raised in their Parliament, debates, and efforts to hear and overcome public problems in their parliamentary constituency. And that is why in 2017, he was the only leader questioning and requesting the government to look into the matter of water scarcity in Hissar.
Politics, Literature, and art lover Dushyant is also very fond of painting. Art and literature play a decisive role in the creation of a sensitive personality. Literature remains active in the creation of a sensitive heart. His interest in literature, as well as raga-raganis, connect him to Lokaraga. As a modern conscious citizen, Dushyant understands the problems and concerns of the working class and disadvantaged communities and is constantly striving to overcome them. School of Politics along with schooling, Dushyant has been learning since childhood as well in the school of politics. If politics is associated with values as well as life experiences, then it is always in the public interest. When Dushyant was 8 years old, he was his great-grandfather's first one to campaign for him. He campaigned for Chaudhary Devi Lal Ji for a total of 15 days that too door-to-door. This is the way a person accepts the tradition and rituals of the family. It is for the younger generation to carry forward these values and values found in the family. Family is the biggest identity of Indian society and this family is also the basis of the strength of the country and society. When we talk of unity, we say that we are all an Indian family. Dushyant is doing the work of furthering these family values. When Dushyant Chautala's father, Dr. Ajay Singh Chautala, contested the Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha elections in 2009, at that time, Dushyant took command as the in-charge of the entire Mahendragarh district and showed his leadership skills which were highly praisable, compared to Dr. Shruti Chaudhary. As a result, Ajay Chautala got the lead of more than 50 thousand votes from the Mahendergarh district. In the 2009 assembly elections, Dushyant Chautala commanded Uchana and Dabwali too. In his childhood, his skills of working at the grassroots and taking command of leadership, along with the principles in the school of politics, were visible at once. Member of Parliament Dushyant Chautala is a young name not only in the state but also in the Parliament of the country, who has not only raised the demand of his parliamentary constituency more than any MP of Haryana but has been present in the Parliament and served to give a debate at the national level. Whenever he got a chance, he warned the government by giving ethical and upright pieces of advice. There is hardly any debate or day in which the voice of Dushyant Chautala did not echo as the voice of the people of the state. When the MP was elected to Delhi on 18 May 2014, he was identified as Jan Nayak. On the very first day, he raised the matter of making a policy on population for the development of the country in the House. That is when the attention of the entire government went to this young MP. After this, Dushyant Chautala never looked back and made his presence felt in every action of the House. Dushyant Chautala indeed is an inspiration and a face for determination.
